Long Beach is where travellers to Vancouver Island often get their first glimpse of open ocean. This sparkling beach features 10 kilometers of sandy shoreline that makes for easy walking.

But the beach is just the beginning. Beyond the golden sands and crashing waves lies the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, a gateway to some of the most pristine and awe-inspiring natural landscapes in the world.
This park, with its towering ancient trees and dense, verdant undergrowth, is a sanctuary for countless species of flora and fauna, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth.
The air here is thick with the scent of cedar and moss, and the sounds of the forest—rustling leaves, distant bird calls, the occasional drip of water—create a symphony that soothes the soul.
Adjacent to this park, Clayoquot Sound offers an equally compelling experience.
This UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is a mosaic of untamed wilderness, where the rainforest meets the sea in a harmonious blend of life.
The sound is dotted with remote islands, each one a microcosm of biodiversity, and its waters are home to a rich marine ecosystem, including whales, sea otters, and seals.
These extraordinary places compel visitors to linger, not just to witness their beauty, but to reflect on the profound sense of peace and interconnectedness that these ecosystems embody.
"Here, time seems to slow down, allowing for a deeper connection with the natural world. It’s a place where one can truly appreciate the delicate balance of life, the resilience of nature, and the importance of preserving these sacred spaces for future generations."
