Bear & Wildlife Attractants
Camping in the wilderness is an incredible way to unplug, but it comes with a bit of shared-space etiquette—especially when bears and other wildlife are part of the neighbourhood.
Being mindful of your campsite surroundings means keeping food and scented items securely stored.
ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, GARBAGE OR WILDLIFE ATTRACTANTS ARE TO BE LEFT OUT IN THE CAMPSITE(S) UNATTENDED DUE TO WILDLIFE IN THE AREA. No warnings will be provided. (Max $250.00 fine per campsite).
- Do not leave any animal attractants (anything with a scent) unattended on your site, when you leave or go to bed.
- Pack everything into your vehicle or lock in storage lockers.
- Wildlife attractants include, but aren’t limited to: food, garbage, coolers, empty coolers, bins, stoves, dishes, cans, empty cans or bottles, soap, and toiletries.
- Dirty campsites will be cleaned immediately by our staff and will result in a $25 cleaning fee that will be charged to the credit card on file.
- Any attractants found on unattended sites will be removed and must be picked up at the Front Office during office hours.
